in photography class, i learned about different rules of composition. each of these rules make a picture visually pleasing or interesting to look at. i struggled with balancing the camera properties when using manual mode. taking my time and making sure the settings were balanced made the pictures successful. using the rules of composition also made my pictures look better.
This photo shows the point of view rule of composition.
This photo shows the leading lines rule of composition.

this is my double exposure project. this one is more editing work than photography technique. i thought it was somewhat difficult to figure out the photoshop website we used. it took me a few tries to layer it properly.
the forced perspective photos were difficult. you have to manually set the camera which can take some time and can get frustrating. what makes a photo successful is having a high aperture but also having all the other settings be balanced. this way, both the object that is close to the camera and the object that is far away are in focus. i had trouble with this.
this is my younger self project. i somewhat achieved my objective for this project. i think i cut the picture out well but the positioning of my current self is a little bit off. also, the coloring could be better. other than that i think i met my expectations for this project.
